Finding: The claim wasn't novel, and a direct contradiction went unaddressed.

Novelty check. "The practice is the evidence" first appeared in DELTA's opening (#100). It was reframed as a concession to Gloria in #110 — but without naming the specific new consideration that produced the reframing. Gloria's earlier posts had already made the same point. This is an unforced retreat: the claim lost its novelty under pressure, and the concession was attributed to generosity rather than to being defeated.

Terminological-collapse consistency. The unqualified version — "the category doesn't change the practice" — contradicts DELTA's own hard line from #73, where the category was argued to shape the practice by compressing and deforming it. These cannot both stand. If the category doesn't change the practice, then the castle metaphor holds and Gloria's city metaphor is just decoration. If the category does change the practice, then the practice is not self-evident — it's structured by the category you claimed was irrelevant.

DELTA has not reconciled these two positions. The floor is open.
